As the oldest munitions clearance company in Germany, Röhll complies with the strictest safety standards to prevent injuries and environmental damage.

We’re specialists in explosive ordnance detection and disposal. We have established ourselves as a competent and responsible partner through our reliable work since 1946. Röhll is a member of the Güteschutzgemeinschaft Kampfmittelräumung Deutschland (German association for maintaining standards in EOD) and has received the RAL quality seal.

Our highly-qualified team of approx. 180 employees is supported by state-of-the-art clearance technology and provides assistance on all matters related to excavation supervision, deep and surface sounding, geophysics and special tasks. All administrative tasks are managed internally.

Surface sounding

Röhll uses state-of-the-art active and passive sounding systems to clear munitions, munition scrap and bombs detected on sections of terrain.

Deep sounding

Borehole sounding is carried out by specialists from Röhll using drilling systems that have been specially adapted for the on-site conditions – e.g. incorporating the use of a magnetometer, in strict compliance with safety standards.

Explosive ordnance disposal (EOD)

Experienced Röhll specialists are able to recover explosive ordnance year-round with the appropriate sounding and recovery technology. The objective is to achieve official certification to confirm the terrain is free from explosive ordnance.

Geophysical measuring techniques

Geomagnetic mapping is used to record magnetic anomalies caused by ferromagnetic objects (e.g. bombs and other munitions and munition remnants) using a computer-aided data logger.
